For 14 years I was under the impression that I was allergic to dairy. Every time I ate a dairy product I would have the worst stomach pains and migraines. I switched to raw dairy in 2022 and have had zero problems. Turns out...I am not allergic to dairy or lactose intolerant... I am intolerant to the chemicals and preservatives in the pasteurization process!
Pasteurization
While pasteurization doesn't use chemicals to kill any bacteria, it's often part of a broader industrial food processing system that can involve chemical-based practices. For example, equipment used in dairy processing is often sanitized with chemical disinfectants to ensure a sterile environment. The use of certain additives and preservatives are also involved in the post-pasteurization process to maintain shelf life and prevent spoilage. One of the other primary concerns about pasteurization is that it alters the nutritional content of milk. While pasteurization is designed to kill harmful bacteria, it also destroys many of the beneficial components found in raw milk. These components contribute to digestive health and immune function...so it's no wonder why so many people struggle with digestion and their immune system...we've been stripped access to one of the most beneficial foods God gave us!!
So what is "Raw Dairy"?
Raw dairy, in particular, is a topic of much discussion. This form of dairy hasn't been pasteurized, meaning it retains its full range of natural enzymes, beneficial bacteria, and nutrients. These elements are critical for proper digestion and overall health! By consuming raw dairy, you are experiencing milk in its purest form, much as our ancestors did. It's a way to embrace the natural order and reap the health benefits that come with it.

Incorporating Raw Dairy into Your Diet
To integrate raw dairy into your diet, start with small amounts and ensure you source it from reputable farms that follow strict hygiene and safety practices. You can enjoy raw milk, cheese, yogurt, and butter, each offering a unique set of nutrients and flavors. It's a delicious way to
enhance your diet while embracing a more natural lifestyle.
